The Atomic Energy Education Society (AEES), an aided body under the Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India, has released AEES Recruitment 2026 through Recruitment Notification 01/2026 dated 29 October 2026. A total of 254 tentative vacancies are notified for Principal, Vice-Principal, PGT, TGT, Librarian, PRT, PRT (Music) and Balvatika Teacher posts. Online applications will be accepted from 2 November 2026 (10:00 am) to 22 November 2026 (11:50 pm).
AEES runs 30 English-medium schools (Balvatika to Class XII) across 15 centres, including Anushaktinagar (Mumbai), Tarapur, Kaiga, Kudankulam, Kalpakkam, Mysuru, Hyderabad, Jaduguda, Narora (Uttar Pradesh), Rawatbhata (Rajasthan), Indore (Madhya Pradesh) and Kakrapar (Gujarat). Selected candidates may be posted anywhere in India.

Upper age relaxation: SC/ST 5 years, OBC (NCL) 3 years and women 10 years for PGT, TGT, Librarian, PRT and Balvatika Teacher posts; PwBD, Ex-Servicemen and others get relaxation as per rules. Age and qualifications are counted as on the last date of online application. A valid CTET (Paper-I) is essential for PRT, and CTET (Paper-II) for TGT posts, except TGT Computer Science, Art Education and Physical & Health Education. Librarian and PRT (Music) do not need CTET.

Fee is paid online by debit card, credit card or net banking. GST as applicable is charged extra by the bank, and the fee is not refundable. A separate fee is needed for each post applied for.
Selection Process and Exam Pattern
- Selection is through a Computer Based Test (CBT) followed by a Skill Test or Interview. There is no negative marking in the CBT.
- For PGT, TGT, Librarian, PRT, PRT (Music) and Balvatika Teacher: 120 MCQs for 120 marks in 2 hours – General English, General Hindi, Reasoning, GK, Computer Literacy and Numerical Ability (5 each), Teaching Methodology (15) and the concerned subject (75).
- For Principal and Vice-Principal: 150 questions for 150 marks in 2 hours 30 minutes, followed by an interview. The final merit has 50:50 weightage for CBT and interview.
- The Skill Test for teacher posts is a qualifying chalk-and-board teaching test on a “Go / No Go” basis, held only at AEES, Anushaktinagar, Mumbai.
- To be shortlisted, UR/EWS candidates need 60% and SC/ST/OBC/PwBD candidates need 54% in the CBT. The CBT will be held in 44 cities across India.
How to Apply for AEES Recruitment 2026
- Read the full notification on aees.gov.in/recruitment.html and check your eligibility.
- From 2 November 2026, open the AEES online application portal aees.onlineregistrationforms.com and register with a valid personal email ID and mobile number.
- Fill in your details exactly as in your Class 10 certificate and select the post. Within PGT and within TGT, you can apply for only one subject.
- Upload the scanned documents listed in the notification, including photo, signature and certificates.
- Pay the fee online and submit the form before 11:50 pm on 22 November 2026.
- Print the Confirmation Page. Without it the application is treated as incomplete.
