According to the RSSB notice, the merit-wise result of the written exam was declared on 16 January 2026. About three times the number of posts, category-wise, were then provisionally listed for the Trade Test, which was conducted by the department. All candidates who were declared eligible in the Trade Test have now been shortlisted, fully provisionally, for eligibility checking and document verification. The office order states that 4,508 candidates have been listed on the basis of merit from the department’s list dated 14 October 2026.
The list is a 110-page PDF covering Non-TSP and TSP areas. It shows serial number, rank, application number, roll number, name, father’s name, mother’s name, date of birth, gender, category and special category columns.
Online Scrutiny Form and Documents
- Shortlisted candidates must fill the online detailed application-cum-Scrutiny Form through their own SSO ID login on the Recruitment Portal between 30 October and 12 November 2026, along with the required documents.
- At the time of document verification, candidates must submit, in original, the prescribed affidavits and other formats along with the scrutiny form.
- The additional experience declaration form (Annexure-1) prescribed by the State Motor Garage Department is mandatory. It records experience as a driver of light (LMV/NT) or heavy transport (HMV/TR) vehicles, with driving licence and Aadhaar details and proof of payment.
- The office order also includes declaration formats for unmarried and married candidates (on dowry and having not more than one living spouse), to be printed on ₹50 non-judicial stamp paper and attested by a Notary Public.
- The detailed document verification schedule will be issued separately.
Eligibility and Important Conditions
This is a result stage, so there is no new application or fee. Only candidates whose names are in the list can fill the scrutiny form. The selection is fully provisional: if any candidate has given wrong information in the application or used unfair means, they can be removed from the result at any time. The Board can also correct the result if any error is found. As stated in the notice, the result will be subject to the decision of the Rajasthan High Court, Jaipur in writ petitions No. 18671/2026, 17003/2026 and 17005/2026.
