How to Check SSC JE Exam City Slip 2026
- Visit the official SSC website ssc.gov.in.
- Click Login and sign in with your registration number (OTR) and password.
- Open the designated module for the Junior Engineer Examination, 2026.
- View your examination city details and save or print them for travel planning.
- Log in again 2–3 days before your exam date to download your Admission Certificate, which is required for entry. The city slip is not an admit card.
Own Scribe Registration – What Changed
- Scribe registrations made before 05.11.2025 have been disposed of, so candidates using their own scribe may need a fresh scribe registration on the SSC website.
- Scribe registration is now integrated with Aadhaar authentication. Anyone who wants to act as a scribe must complete fresh registration.
- Candidates must submit their scribe’s registration number and map the Scribe OTR by 27.10.2026 (11:00 PM). The Scribe Entry Pass is generated only for candidates who map successfully.
- The maximum age limit for own scribes will be as per SSC’s updated policy. Other scribe rules stay as given in the exam notice.
Subject Change for Scientific Assistant (SA)
Some candidates who opted for JE (Telecommunication) were also eligible for JE (Electrical) and Scientific Assistant (SA). For such candidates who selected SA, SSC will treat EC/TC as the default SA subject. Those who want CS/IT or Physics instead can change it at the time of City Live, till 27.10.2026 (11:00 PM). No change is allowed after that. Candidates must appear in the subject printed on their Admission Certificate.
