📖 How to Revise Daily Current Affairs 31 October 2026

Do not try to memorise every number in one sitting. Start with the headings and the Exam Point boxes, because those hold the facts examiners like to test: names of schemes, organisations, venues, amounts and first-ever achievements.

Next, go through the one-liners and say each answer aloud before reading it. Mark the ones you get wrong and revisit them after a day, then again after a week. This spaced revision helps current affairs stay in memory until the exam.

Finally, link each news item to the static syllabus, for example the Vice Chief appointment to the IAF command structure and its seven commands, the banking committee to the RBI and the Banking Regulation Act, 1949, the Social Security Board to the four Labour Codes, the government accounts to the Fiscal Responsibility and Budget Management (FRBM) Act, 2003, the Buddha relics to Tibetan Buddhism in the North East, PAVAN-I3C to the Graded Response Action Plan (GRAP), UPI to NPCI (set up in 2008), and Aapravasi Diwas to the indentured labour system of the 19th century. Questions in SSC, Banking and State PSC papers often combine a current event with a static fact.
