The totals include backlog vacancies (27 in Electronics and 18 in Mechanical as per the notice). 13 posts are reserved for PwBD candidates (horizontal). Selected engineers may be posted at any BEL unit or office across India, including Bengaluru, Ghaziabad, Pune, Navi Mumbai, Nagpur, Hyderabad, Chennai, Machilipatnam, Panchkula and Kotdwara.
Pay Scale and Benefits
- Grade: E-II, pay scale ₹40,000–3%–₹1,40,000.
- Approximate CTC: ₹13 lakh per annum (as stated by BEL).
- In addition to basic pay: DA, HRA, Conveyance Allowance, Performance Related Pay, Medical Reimbursement and other perquisites as admissible.
- The pay scale is due for revision w.e.f. 01.01.2027 (as mentioned in the notice).
- Selected candidates undergo orientation/on-the-job training for 6 months.
- They must sign a Service Agreement to serve BEL for 2 years; the amount payable for breach is ₹2,00,000.

Educational Qualification
- PE (Electronics): First class B.E./B.Tech./B.Sc. (Engg.), 4-year course from an AICTE-recognised institute/university, in Electronics, Electronics & Communication, Electronics & Telecommunication, Communication or Telecommunication.
- PE (Mechanical): First class B.E./B.Tech./B.Sc. (Engg.), 4-year course, in Mechanical Engineering.
- AMIE/AMIETE/GIETE in the relevant discipline with first class is also accepted.
- SC/ST/PwBD candidates need only a pass class.
- Other or dual/combined disciplines are not eligible. Colour-blind candidates are not suitable for these posts.
Age Limit (as on 01.10.2026)
- Maximum age: 25 years for General/EWS candidates.
- Relaxation: OBC (NCL) 3 years, SC/ST 5 years, PwBD 10 years (13 years for PwBD-OBC, 15 years for PwBD-SC/ST).
- Ex-Servicemen: 5 years relaxation as per Government guidelines.
- Only Indian nationals are eligible.
