The “Link for Downloading e-Call letter for CBT1” was added to the official RRB websites on 30 October 2026. The CBT-1 is scheduled on 3, 4 and 5 November 2026, so candidates whose exam is on the first day should download their e-call letter right away.
This recruitment is for 11,127 vacancies of Assistant Loco Pilot across all RRBs in Pay Level-2 (initial pay ₹19,900). Eligibility Recap and Fee Refund
This is the admit card stage, so there is no new application or fee. Only candidates who applied under CEN 01/2026 by 14 June 2026 can download the e-call letter. As per the detailed CEN, the age limit is 18 to 30 years as on 01.07.2026 (born between 02.07.1996 and 01.07.2008 for UR/EWS), with upper age relaxation for reserved categories, and the educational qualification and A-1 medical standard are as given in Annexure-A of the CEN. The RRB clearly says that issuing an e-call letter does not mean your candidature is accepted – eligibility is checked with original documents at the Document Verification stage.
Appearing in CBT-1 also matters for your fee refund: candidates who paid ₹500 get ₹400 back, and candidates of SC, ST, Ex-Servicemen, Female, Transgender, Minorities and EBC categories who paid ₹250 get the full ₹250 back, after deduction of bank charges. Only candidates who attend CBT-1 get this refund.
How to Download RRB ALP Admit Card 2026
- Open the official website of your RRB, for example rrb.indianrailways.gov.in, and look for CEN 01/2026 under the e-call letter section.
- Click “Link for Downloading e-Call letter for CBT1”. It opens the candidate login page on rrb.digialm.com.
- Enter your Registration Number and select your Date of Birth as the password. If you have forgotten your registration number, log in at rrbapply.gov.in or check your registered email.
- Submit the details. Your CBT-1 e-call letter with exam date, shift, reporting time and venue will appear on the screen.
- Check your name, photo, signature, category and venue carefully. Report any mistake to the helpdesk immediately.
- Download and take a clear printout. SC/ST candidates eligible for free travel will find the travel authority printed in the e-call letter itself.

CBT-1 marks will be normalised across shifts. Candidates will be shortlisted for CBT-2 RRB-wise and community-wise, and the total shortlisted for CBT-2 will be limited to 15 times the vacancies of each RRB (Railways may change this limit).
Exam Day Instructions
- Carry the printed e-call letter and a valid original photo ID (Aadhaar or e-Aadhaar printout, Voter ID, driving licence, PAN card, passport, etc.).
- Aadhaar-linked biometric authentication will be done at the centre. Bring your original Aadhaar card or e-verified Aadhaar printout and keep your Aadhaar unlocked in the UIDAI system.
- Carry a colour passport photograph not older than two months.
- Mobile phones, watches, calculators, pens, pencils, bags, caps, wallets, water bottles and food items are not allowed. A pen will be given in the exam hall.
- Do not apply henna on your hands or feet, as it blocks the capture of biometrics.
- Write the self-declaration paragraph and sign on the e-call letter only in the exam hall in front of the invigilator. Do not sign in CAPITAL letters.
