All 6 vacancies are Unreserved (UR). The CTC is negotiable and depends on the candidate’s experience, current pay and place of posting. As per the advertisement, 90% of the CTC is fixed pay and 10% is variable pay linked to performance.
Eligibility: Qualification and Experience
All eligibility conditions are counted as on 30.09.2026. The key requirements are summarised below. Read the full advertisement for the job profile and required skills.
- GM & Chief AI Officer and the three DGM posts: B.E./B.Tech/M.Tech in Computer Science, IT, Electronics, Electrical & Electronics, Electronics & Communication or equivalent, or M.Sc (Statistics/Computer Science), MA (Statistics), M.Stat or MCA from a recognised university. An MBA/PGDM in finance and AI/ML certifications are preferred.
- GM & Chief AI Officer – experience: at least 15 years in Banking/BFSI/IT, of which at least 3 years must be senior leadership in AI, analytics, model oversight, governance and business transformation. Individual-contributor experience does not count towards these 3 years.
- DGM posts – experience: at least 10 years in Banking/BFSI/IT, with at least 2 years in a senior leadership role in the relevant area (risk and operational analytics, AI governance and compliance, or data engineering/MLOps/AI Ops).
- AI Solution Architect: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Data Science, AI, Business Administration, Management or a related discipline, and at least 8 years of experience, including 3 years in AI/analytics solutioning, digital transformation, technology consulting or solution architecture.
- Enterprise AI Architect: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Data Science, AI or equivalent, and at least 8 years of technology experience, including 3 years in enterprise, platform, data or AI architecture. TOGAF certification is preferred.
- Training and teaching experience is not counted. A candidate can apply for only one post.
Nature of Engagement and Posting
- Fixed Term Employment for 3 years. At the Bank’s discretion it may be renewed for 2 more years, and the total engagement cannot exceed 5 years.
- Either side can end the engagement with 3 months’ notice, or by paying/surrendering 3 months’ compensation instead.
- Place of posting: Mumbai, or anywhere in India if there is an administrative need.

Selection Process
- Shortlisting: a committee set up by the Bank decides the shortlisting criteria. Meeting the minimum eligibility does not guarantee an interview call.
- Interview (100 marks): for posts 1 to 4, the interview includes a 10-minute presentation on your job profile, projects or achievements. The Bank decides the qualifying marks.
- CTC negotiation: done one by one, either at the interview or separately after it.
- Merit list: based only on interview marks. If candidates tie at the cut-off, the older candidate ranks higher.
