You can apply to only one RRB. Applying to more than one RRB leads to rejection of all applications. The vacancies are provisional and may change.
Eligibility and Age Limit
- Education: 12th (+2 stage) or equivalent with at least 50% marks in aggregate. The 50% condition does not apply to SC/ST, PwBD, ex-servicemen, or candidates with qualifications higher than 12th. You must hold the qualification by 13.11.2026; candidates awaiting results cannot apply.
- Age: 18 to 30 years as on 01.01.2027. UR/EWS candidates must be born between 02.01.1997 and 01.01.2009.
- Relaxation: OBC-NCL 3 years (born on or after 02.01.1994), SC/ST 5 years (on or after 02.01.1992), PwBD 10/13/15 years. Ex-servicemen, serving railway staff and widowed/divorced women get relaxation as per the CEN.
- There is no typing skill test for this CEN. However, Junior Clerk and Accounts Clerk Cum Typist candidates are expected to have basic computer and typing skills, which will be checked after joining.

The fee is paid online only (net banking, card or UPI). Refunds go to the Aadhaar-seeded bank account validated during the application.

One-third mark is deducted for each wrong answer. Candidates equal to 15 times the community-wise vacancies are shortlisted for CBT-2. Minimum qualifying marks: UR/EWS 40%, OBC-NCL and SC 30%, ST 25%. The exam is held in English, Hindi and 13 regional languages.
How to Apply for RRB NTPC UG 2026
- Visit rrbapply.gov.in (the apply link is also on the unified RRB website rrb.indianrailways.gov.in).
- Click Create an Account (or log in if you already made one for an earlier RRB CEN). Use your own mobile number and e-mail; these details cannot be changed later. Aadhaar/DigiLocker authentication is advised.
- Choose CEN 07/2026 – NTPC (Under Graduate), select one RRB and set your post and zone preferences.
- Fill in your education, category and other details, capture your live photo and upload the required documents.
- Pay ₹500 or ₹250 online and link your Aadhaar-seeded bank account for the refund.
- Submit before 13.11.2026 (11:59 PM) and save the confirmation. Corrections can be made from 16 to 25.11.2026 on payment of a modification fee.
